Dry Needling/Acupuncture in Daisy Hill
Daisy Hill Physiotherapy’s treatments can be complemented with acupuncture and dry needling techniques. Smaller and less painful to insert than hollow-cored medical syringes, the benefit of acupuncture lies in stimulating cardiovascular and endocrine responses that promote healing and normal function. Using the same needle type, dry needling is a more aggressive application in which a single needle is inserted at multiple points along symptomatic muscle or soft tissue structures to elicit a release of tension.
Acupuncture and dry needling techniques at Daisy Hill Physiotherapy Centre are performed within the context of evidence-based practice and are specific to movement-related musculoskeletal, neurological and chronic pain conditions. Our practitioners are board-certified by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia and are able to recommend the best combination of treatment techniques based on your individual needs.
