  • Joshua Hopton
    Joshua Hopton Director and Principal Physiotherapist

    Josh is a highly experienced physiotherapist with a background in high level sports, chronic pain, dizziness & vertigo and men’s health (chronic pelvic pain, urinary and faecal incontinence, prostate care).

    Having come from lead roles including Head Physiotherapist for the Queensland Basketball League (Mackay Meteors), Head Physiotherapist for Queensland Rugby League (Mackay Cutters) and facilitating care for the North Queensland Cowboys, Josh has an ongoing passion for high level evidence based care.

    His physiotherapy skills are set on really getting down to setting clear goals and coming up with pathways on how to achieve them.

    Hands on physio treatment and dry needling & acupuncture to relieve pain and improve movement are his specialty as well as home and gym based programs to ensure he is working on the underlying problems. He also utilizes functional conditioning and strength, manual therapy and joint mobilization techniques for optimizing recovery of his patients.

  • Karly Flynn
    Karly Flynn Senior Physiotherapist

    Karly is a highly skilled senior physiotherapist. She is passionate about treating clients with a focus on chronic pain, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Pilates, vertigo/vestibular conditions and Women’s Health.

    Being a mother of 5 and an avid competitor in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Karly’s passions lie in comprehensive rehabilitation from the ground up with an incorporation of elements from all of her experience.

    Karly specializes in the use of dry needling & acupuncture, pelvic floor rehabilitation, women’s health including pain and incontinence, manual therapy, joint mobilization and post orthopaedic care

  • Nathan English
    Nathan English Physiotherapist

    Nathan’s mission at Daisy Hill Physiotherapy is to improve the quality of life for everyone in the community.

    Having both a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Master’s Degree of Physiotherapy, Nathan brings both depth of knowledge and a wide range of skills to the clinic.

    During his Master’s degree, he was honoured with an academic excellence award which recognised his consistent academic achievement throughout his degree.

    Prior to Physiotherapy, Nathan played tennis competitively at National level and has had a passion for all sport from a young age.

    Since graduating he has been working with the Titans, Burleigh Bears and Tweed Seagulls assisting with Strength and Conditioning coaching and management through their pre-seasons and is currently the Head Physiotherapist for the Brisbane Strikers Academy.

    Nathan loves to treat a broad range of conditions, with a very hands on manual therapy approach to physiotherapy treatment in order to help ease pain and improve movement and function. He is also able to evaluate patients to find the root cause of their problem and maximises results through exercise and strength training as a way to correct functional issues

  • Jordan Wheeler
    Jordan Wheeler Physiotherapist

    Jordan is passionate about treating clients with a focus on acute sporting injuries, musculoskeletal dysfunction and high level sports rehabilitation.

    Coming from an Exercise and Sports science background and with a Master’s of Physiotherapy, he has an amazing knowledge in creating gym and exercise programs to promote injury recovery and prevention. Having played a variety of sports growing up including squash, field hockey and cricket, Jordan has a breadth of knowledge and understanding of what it takes to not only treat an injury, but to improve as an athlete.

    In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym, playing squash, mountain bike riding and rock climbing.

    Jordan uses a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques with an emphasis on hands on techniques including manual therapy, joint mobilisations and functional conditioning to improve strength and encourage correct movement patterns.
